Our Story

Two years ago, Black Earthy Girl was a notebook.

Pages and pages of handwritten notes. Herbs studied late at night. Blend names dreamed up, crossed out, and dreamed again. Recipes measured in a Michigan kitchen one tablespoon at a time. Some pages have tea stains on them. We kept them anyway.

Every blend in this shop began on those pages. The names came first: Womb Whisper, Nightfall Harmony, Tree of Life. Before a tea is a recipe, it is a feeling. Then came the herbs, studied, sourced, weighed by hand, and tested in real cups on real evenings until each one tasted like it belonged.

Black Earthy Girl is a Black woman-owned tea company, incorporated and handcrafted in Michigan. Every pouch is blended in small batches, weighed by hand, and sealed with a lot number so we always know exactly what is inside. You deserve to know too.

This is tea for slow mornings and honest evenings. For choosing yourself first. For rituals rooted in the earth.
